Top Halloween Tutorials

Written by: holly 7th October 2016

October is one of our favourite months for one reason and one reason only – Halloween! Experimenting with our hair and make up is one of our favourite things to do, and Halloween is the one time of year you can experiment. This year, we’re planning on going ALL OUT and to help us all do that, we’ve rounded up our favourite Halloween tutorials by some serious Youtube babes!

Ice Queen

We can’t resist a glitter tutorial following our time at V Festival, so this Ice Queen tutorial is right up our street. The Gypsy Shrine not only gives us serious glitter-spo on Instagram, but Youtube too! Unleash your inner bad-ass Queen Elsa with this amazing glittery Ice Queen tutorial. Our favourite part? Those frosty, glitter lips of course!

The ‘Born This Way’ Skull

This is one look we’ve been dying to try ever since Lady Gaga rocked that pink pony in 2011, and it’s been going strong every Halloween since! This amazing tutorial by Chrisspy has us wanting to whip out that tux and pink dye ASAP… Not to mention that skele-contour on FLEEK!

Getting Snaky

Shannon of Shaaanxo has the maddest make up skills in the whole of New Zealand, and this tutorial is no exception. She’s our favourite bae from across the pond and this time we’re massively crushing on her Medusa Halloween tutorial! For that more toned down but still hot look, this one’s at the top of our list. We’re definitely feelin’ that golden crown too…

Howling At The Moon

Want to get a little more of a spook on? We’ve been lovin’ this Werewolf tutorial here at MHHQ and let’s face it – that extreme smoky eye is to diiiiie for! Take that contour to the next level with Bella Makeup’s amazing Halloween look.

Sugar, darling

Here she is – our #MHBabe Sophie Hannah Richardson does Halloween like no one else and last year she treated us all to this incredible sugar skull tutorial. The sugar skull is going no where anytime soon, and it’s definitely on our list of ones to try. Besides, what else are we gonna do with our flower crowns from V Fest?
