#HOW TO – The Puffed Pony

Written by: holly 27th February 2014

STEP ONE

Prepare the hair with Get Gorgeous quick fix dry shampoo! (As you can probably tell this product is my favourite must have!)

STEP TWO

Start by back combing the top section of the hair starting at the crown and moving to the section that will cover it and secure with some Fabulous Finish hairspray to attack them flyaways!

STEP THREE
Tease the hair giving you a neat (but not too polished!) bit of height.

STEP FOUR

Now this part is easy! Secure the hair with a fairly thin hair band in a typical “half up/down” style.

STEP FIVE

Using a pintail comb (or your hands of you don’t have one!) tease the hair to give it as much volume as you fancy, then lightly sprits with more Fabulous Finish to keep in place!

STEP SIX

Gather all the remaining hair up and tie in a ponytail on top of the bobble you already have in place, this gives you the lift on top with a sleek pony and a hidden trick only you know! This look will keep you rocking from day to night and have all your friends guessing just how you’re keeping so much volume!

*my advice, don’t be too neat! I love a messy high pony it’s much more on trend and allows for a few fallout pieces if you have a long day ahead!*  #markhillhair #markhillsalon @sajoneshairdresser
